Executive Assistant Location:
Carroll, OH Salary:
$22/hr to $26/hr depending on experience In office, full time.
The executive assistant will assist the owner of the company with a host of tasks related to our growing auction business.
Burns Auction specializes in selling estates both on-site and at our gallery in Carroll.
We sell tens of thousands of items a year, ranging from the every day to the rare and valuable.
Our company is interesting and fast paced.
You will meet some interesting folks and see some very cool stuff.
Our buyers are local and all over the world.
If you like to stay busy for the full forty hours a week you are in the office, this is the job for you.
We work hard, but we also want to have fun and enjoy our work each day.
Essential tasks of this position:
Greeting customers and vendors who come to our office Answering phone calls from buyers, sellers, vendors and others who call in Managing paid/unpaid lists from auctions, and calling to collect payments from customers when needed Tracking sales leads in our CRM and following up for the owner when required Assist with managing the owner/company calendar of auctions, auction prep, meetings and more Monitor the company email inbox, respond to emails Assist with preparing and posting upcoming auctions Assist with social media and marketing tasks such as updating website, sending marketing emails Proactively assist the owner with other tasks as needed Required Education &
Experience:
High School Diploma or Equivalent AND Four years of applicable experience OR Associate's Degree AND Two years of applicable experience OR a Bachelor's Degree Desired Skills & Experience First and foremost we value the basics of honesty, integrity, hard work, reliability and loyalty Must be comfortable dealing with customers on the phone and in person Must be able to offer excellent customer service Must be willing to learn, we are happy to train you to do all of the things you need to do.
Must have a clean criminal record If you need a same thing every day, predictable environment then this job isn't for you - you must be able to think on the fly, must be able to adapt, multi task and deal with unpredictable needs popping up Ability to sit at a desk for full days.
Ability to lift up to 15 lbs Must be comfortable working on a computer and learning new tech Desire to grow with us.
